First, I want to start with the staff. Everyone was fantastic. Especially Sofia. The staff are one of the many highlights of this amazing facility. We tried almost everything on the menu throughout our stay and were surprised at how fresh and delicious everything was every single time. Facilities were great, we spent a lot of time at the rooftop pool and enjoyed every minute of it.

Colourful and historic, modern and colonial, local and touristic, Cartagena de Indias represents one of the liveliest Colombian beach resorts. Its character mixes cultures and peoples, including natives, Spanish, African and Arab. Its rich legacy granted its Old Town the recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
When the Spanish founded the city in 1533, the region had already been inhabited for thousands of years. It became an important port for the Spanish gold and a significant political centre. Echoes of those times can be seen throughout the historic centre, in the city walls, the San Felipe de Barajas Castle, and the colourful streets and colonial squares. Some of the best hotels in Cartagena de Indias can be found here.

Nice vacation, a lot to see, city is really nice, especially in the evening with animations. But very hot and beaches are not clean, you need to go to beaches far away (by boat). I liked to see free animals (monkeys,...) in the city park Centenario.

Cartegena has so much culture and history.
Cartegena has so much culture and history. The food was fantastic! There is live music in every restaurant and bar. Traditional dancing can be found in the squares and you just need to tip. Just be aware of all the street hustlers, especially the rappers who will follow you. The old town comes alive after 8pm. Be prepared for the 90-100% humidity during the mid-day. It is best to site see early in the morning or evening and siesta or pool lounge during the mid day.

The "Old City" is beautiful and historic - and has excellent gelato! Unfortunately, no Dr Pepper...
The beaches are good, and provide a diversion (or a primary reason to go, if you are young) and a completely different atmosphere.

Lots to do if you work with local tourist agents.
Lots to do if you work with local tourist agents. Leave the area and go to Baru for glowing plankton or boats to Rosario archipelago. Old town. Watch out for street vendors selling trinkets and being too pushy.

We really enjoyed this boutique hotel. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We did have an issue with the room we initially booked. Tatiana, who works at the front desk was exceptional. She went over and above to get us settled into another. I recommend rooms on floor 2 or higher - note there are no elevators and some stairs are quite steep. We loved the hotel's proximity in the city. The rooftop breakfast was delicious. The rooftop pool and lounge area were perfect to enjoy in the heat of the afternoon and relax.
We loved absolutely everything. From the wonderful building and facilities, to the most charming hotel staff we met in the whole trip to South America. Andrés from the lobby was excellent! The rooms comfortable, modern and overall a beautiful place to stay in Cartagena de Indias.
One suggestion for anybody planning to stay here. Get a bottle of champagne and some chocolates from one of the little shops in the street where the hotel is located and enjoy it on the hotel’s rooftop with the bay views.
Thank you!!!
The place is situated really near the plaza of Getsemani where it's close to everything. There's a kitchen that u can use and the place is spotless clean, Maria is such a very wonderful host and Elly ( the one who makes the breakfast, not sure if that's her name) is so wonderful. They are so friendly and they make the breakfast more lively. they change the breakfast daily and we enjoyed the traditional colombian breakfast. Rooms are really well decorated and the place is cozy and homey.
The staff was excellent. Extremely accommodating and professional with their guests best interest in mind. Large windows with great views, particularly on the beach facing side of the hotel. Boil is beautiful, and really loved having direct beach access (not having to cross any streets). Short cab ride from the old city in the evenings (~10 minutes). Will definitely stay here again in the future.
The hotel was in a very convenient location in a walking distance from both the Old City and the Getsemani area (~10 minutes walk). It’s also close to the port from where the boats are leaving to Rosario Islands. The room was clean and quite big, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel has a restaurant and a swimming pool bar, which we did not use but maybe helpful to know.
Everything was amazing, staff at the bar, restaurants, front desk, etc. They were all so kind and extremely helpful. We planned our stay in another hotel and ended up switching hotels the first day to Las Americas Torre del Mar, and we were so glad we did. French fries were AMAZING!!!!! Transportation to the Old City was super easy. Definitely will be back very soon.
A very, very high level place, it is easy to see how much investment and thought was put into the hotel.
The hotel looks amazing, very clean, luxurious and high quality. The hotel staff are very nice people.
The roof of the hotel with the pool and the beds is very nice.
Excellent location near the old city.
In short - we were more than satisfied and recommend!
Location was excellent, but was also the only drawback. Gaiety in the street outside until well after midnight. Trinity Church plaza nearby was home to Indian folk festival, terrific breakdancing. Restaurants, art galleries, street food all close at hand. Total fun. Easy walk to Old City.
Yolanda and Gladys steered the ship magnificently.
The Hotel is perfect for its value, beds really comy, nice bathrooms the only thing is the location you are not in THE ciudad amurallada but you are like 10 mins walking, it has a good price. If you want to stay like inside the city close to bars and restaurants with the same quality you are definitely going to pay 30%-40% more
Great hotel at the corner of Getsemaní district. Rooftop pool / bar area with panoramic views to the bay of Cartagena / Castillo San Felipe. Very helpful and dedicated staff at reception helping with all needs and questions especially Reinaldo. Breakfast is usual Colombian choice served in a beautiful patio. We will come back.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem nestled within the historic Old City of Cartagena, Colombia, and I can't praise it enough. This hotel effortlessly combines a great location with impeccable charm, cleanliness, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the Old city. The staff are extremely attentive and polite. They were available to help with any request we asked, and we were always made to feel at home. The food is very good and the cocktails are great too.
Unreal hotel! Amazing service, super good food, very clean & I loved that they took extra measures of security for its guests!!
Gorgeous location & establishment! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel!! 1000% recommend to anyone visiting Cartagena!
We saved the best hotel for last! We stayed in many hotels when travelling in Colombia and Posada La Fe was the last one and the best. Large room, large bathroom, really friendly ladies, good breakfast and the best location.
Great location in the heart of the old city. The hotel itself is in a restored authentic villa. Having travelled to Cartagena numerous times, you really can’t get more authentic than this.
The hotel is beautiful, tucked un the streets of the old city, close to many amenities but quiet as well. Beds are comfy, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were helpful and friendly.
The staff tried really hard to make us comfortable... Unfortunately we just came from the Hilton down the street and this hotel was terrible compared to the Hilton property
Room was big but with 3 beds, more like a hostel and not a hotel. The location is great near the Ciudad Amurallada and in the center of Getsemaní. Pool is good.
