The room, hotel, and surroundings were incredible but what we will be talking about for years is the service. Not sure if I can say names on here but the very personable lady who checked us in (the one that had formerly worked at Disney) was so incredibly helpful, giving us a tour of the whole property upon our arrival which is quite large and giving us many recommendations for our few days in Puglia. The head of the bar program (the one who had previously worked in London) was so passionate about his craft, making very unique cocktail made almost exclusively with ingredients of Puglia or even the property. Some of the best cocktails we have had and great company too. This hotel is first rate and the best hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in, it doesn't get any better! We were quite sad to leave and say goodbye to the staff, thanks again for the great experience.

We had such a fantastic experience at this hotel! We only stayed one night, but it was amazing. The location couldn't have been better - right in front of the ocean and within walking distance to restaurants, the beach, and the tourist area. Our room was spacious, clean, and super comfy. We even had a room with an ocean view and a balcony window! The decoration was a little bit outdated but nice. The air-conditioning was a plus, and with the windows closed at night, we couldn't hear any outside noise.
The bathroom was also big and clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of drinks and foods. It was so nice to enjoy breakfast with a view of the ocean. The hotel's proximity to the main attractions was also a huge plus - just a 5-minute walk to the beach and the bridge.
When we arrived at 9 pm, we went out for a walk and fell in love with the city. It was so lovely to see people eating in restaurants and strolling through the old town's little streets. We felt incredibly safe.
The next morning, we woke up early and had the whole beach to ourselves, with breathtaking views of the old town, the rock, and the crystalline water. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel while we went paddle boarding, and when we returned, they even let us use the bathroom to change.
The employees were so friendly and helpful, and we definitely plan on coming back someday! Can't wait to return to this wonderful place.

Very friendly and attentive reception and restaurant stuff. Our deluxe room with a balcony had comfortable mattress and a comforter good for spring chilly nights. But furniture and bathrooms were quite old for the 5 star hotel. The hotel restaurant had a good chef. It was convenient to have a dinner on the site after busy day of exploring. Hotel is located in a beautiful country side and it is 15 min drive to the nearest town Polignano a Mare. Hotel provides also a shuttle for a dinner to the town. Access country roads to the hotel are very bumpy and narrow.

A week is the perfect amount of time to visit Polignano a Mare and visit surrounding towns.
The old town is super cute with lots of souvenir shops, unique artists and lots of yummy food available. As you walk through the maze of streets there were lots of little view points of the famous beach, caves and the Grotta Palazzese.
Don't miss drinking a Special Coffee at the 'The Super Mago del Gelo Mario Campanella'.
Don't forget to visit surrounding places like, Bari, Monopoli, Lecce and Ostuni (you will need a taxi from the station).

it is one of the magical locations in Italy. you must make a boat tour to watch the city from the sea, it is amazing. pay attention to choose a hotel with old town view. otherwise you will stay in a regular hotel with a street view or just overlooking the sea. ( covo dei saraceni is the best, or look for similar )

If you're looking for a relaxing break by the sea this is it! Plenty of promenade for evening strolls, food is fresh and lovely. It's busy on Sundays as people love spending the afternoons having a drink and the streets are busier than usual. We also went to Monopoli which is really close by and simply beautiful as well.

The history of the town, the cobbled marble streets flourished with bars and restaurants. The gelato bars and the friendly people. The Grotto caves along the shoreline and the heritage site where no buildings are allowed.
Must try Panzarotti from Rotelina cafe and gelato and granita from Bar Gelateria (pink sign) and La Locanda Porta Picc, which is a nice restaurant with authentic Italian food. You must also try BBQ Octopus in a roll at La Cadel Polpo. Polignano is walkable with the main town and also has a train station.

Stella di Mare Dimora Charme is a perfect location in Polignano a Mare. The apartment was incredibly clean and beautiful with stone walls and vaulted ceiling. Very quiet neighbourhood but steps away from via Roma - a busy street with lots of restaurants. The apartment was stocked with breakfast essentials, including a great coffee maker and espresso pot. Complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated after arriving. I was lucky that in April I could park just outside the door - a huge plus in a busy tourist town. Polignano itself is gorgeous - view of the iconic coast and buildings arising up from the stone. The historic centre is charming. The location is perfect for touring the beautiful Vallee d'Itria and its interesting hill towns.

Great location very central to the old town, beach, and train station. They were very accommodating in allowing for early check in and luggage drop off/storage for check out. Breakfast was tasty (and plentiful) and Anna was very kind and willing to help manage your needs for the stay. Loved the outdoor patio and a lot of netted windows to allow for good airflow, didn't need to use the A/C during the stay but it did work. Strong wifi connection throughout allowing for remote work without any issues. Would re-book for a future visit.
If you’re trying to decide where to stay in Polignano, then you need look no further. The location is in the epicentre of all the old town has to offer, with restaurants and bars on the doorstep, and the entrance to the beach is 20 steps away. The rooms are large, air conditioned and so tastefully decorated in gorgeous muted shades that make the most of the beautiful old building. The service before and during our stay was consistently friendly, warm and helpful. I can’t recommend Antica Mondo highly enough. 10/10 all day long.
Loved the location right on the Adriatic sea , and 3 -4 minute walking distance from the old town and the beach area. We had a fantastic view from our small balcony where we sat out and enjoyed the Adriatic sea and the views of the old city. The staff was very helpful and friendly. elevators were updated, lobby updated and very clean. We had a nice breakfast every morning on rooftop 3rd floor , with beautiful views. The staff always went out of there way to make sure we were happy.
Really very, very nice place. The room, and ensuite bathroom, were great. If you're after a big bathroom this is your place. Simply massive, double sinks, nice shower. And the room itself was exceptional.
Nani and Rosanna made checking in and out a breeze and had loads of great recommendations for restaurants. Mint, especially, was super nice.
Breakfast is in a cafe nearby and was really good with a few different options.
Great place to stay in Polignano a Mare
This property is in an unbeatable location. Right in the heart of Polignano A Mare, close to may good restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The apartment was a great size, very comfortable and has all the facilities you need. The rooftop spa was amazing! The Host Nico was so helpful and accommodating. Met us with the key and showed us around the apartment, and gave great recommendations. Nico was also very flexible with check and check out time.
The location was perfect. You can walk to the train station and to old town, the beach and restaurants. The host Claudio and father are sweetest people. They picked us up from the train station and arranged transfer to the airport for us. Claudio’s father even brought us a bag of snack as a parting gift. If you visit Polinganano, you will not regret staying at Vico Blu. We have traveled a lot. This place is among the best places I have stayed.
The owner Ahille isvery frendly -every time we asked him on WhatsApp for restaurants, where to go etc. he responded immediately. We liked the design of the property, the two levels ,furniture, espresso machine, clear atmosphere and perfect equepment of the house - more than 5 stars hotel at all , Excellent location-walking distance to the city center, easy to come in and go out by car + free parking just in ftont of you
The homemade breakfast was amazing. It truly was our best breakfast we had in our 3 weeks in Italy, and we traveled through multiple cities. The family who runs the hotel is fantastic and so kind. Also, the view? You can’t beat it. The sea view room and the rooftop breakfast were the best parts of this, besides the amazing location to the beach!
The apartment is very nice and spacious. The host (Rocco) is very welcoming and we very much enjoyed our stay. Within a 10 minute walk, we could reach the center of Polignano a mare, which in itself is a great little town with amazing views of the Adriatic sea, and amazing restaurants too. Easy parking nearby, and breakfast was very nice too!
The stay was great! The food was awesome and the staff at the restaurant was very welcoming. The pasta lady, the vitelo grill guy and even more the guy that have been in Rio were especially welcoming. The hotel is by the beach, there are beautiful fields with flowers nearby and the whole stay was peaceful.
location short walk distamce to the beach
bar and restaurants are near by. Annamaria receptionist is really helpful. clean room, big space.
breakfast is good with great view. good price for 3 adults. we travel with toddler, she is happy enough space for her to play and walk around in the room.
Everything was perfect, super clean and near the center. Walkable to the beach and to the train station. Also the owner was super nice and friendly. Higly recommended for all that want to have the perfect vacation. Definitely wanna go back!!!
The lady doing the check-in was very nice/friendly and collaborative.
Location near the 'beach'.
Ironing tools.
Terrace and sea view, even if we did not have the time to enjoy this.
very clean, excellent location, friendly staff, good breakfast! The rooms are new and well kept. unexpectedly, this was the best hotel we stayed in during out whole trip across italy.
This is a gorgeous property overlooking the cliffs of the Adriatic Sea and Lama Monachile Beach. The location is in the beautiful historical district of Polignano a Mare.
love the location on the very cliffs you see in iconic photos of Polignano a Mare. easy walk to town in one direction, to a “beach” in the other direction.
