The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. We stayed one night. I don't think I've ever felt more welcome than in that hotel.

Set in 125 acres of formal gardens, this 13th-century double-moated castle offers luxurious yet modern bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. Amazing place to stay. Rooms are beautiful. Staff are outstanding. It’s great for families and a wondrous place to explore and learn about. Breakfast was also very good with a lot of choice.

Set in over 2 acres of beautiful gardens, The Chesterton Hotel is an 18th-century manor house offering a relaxing bar. Its bright, modern rooms feature lovely views over the grounds. the ambiance, extremely pleasant and courteous staff and location. Very well maintained property

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... Views are spectacular. Hotel is surrounded by mountains, greens & farms, 30 min walking distance to the Bassenthwaite lake. We swam there. Staff and boss were so friendly and tried their best to meet our needs. I must thank Brett and his team who arranged our dessert marked 'Happy Anniversary' on our special day. We were very satisfying with our stay there.
