The units are incredibly desgined - small but efficient with everything we needed. Our family rented out all three units and it was perfect. John and Doniel were so friendly, there for all we might have needed, and showed our little ones the farm and the animals, even letting them feed the goats. We were just sorry the weather made it so we couldnt light the fire at night or use the hot tubs! Tips for other travellers Though the location is out in the country there are towns not far to go to. We went to Stirling castle one day (about 45 minutes away) and on another day we went to Luss - a super cute town. No doubt if the weather was better we would have had a chance to take some great hikes nearby!

Ubytovanie Bonnie Barns - Luxury Lodges with hot tubs sa nachádza v destinácii Luss v oblasti Argyll and Bute 35 km od miesta Glasgowská botanická záhrada. We could not have asked for a better location. We ended our trip to Scotland in Luss and didn't want to stay in a place where we be subjected to crowds. We found absolute peace and comfort at Bonnie Barns, not to mention a view you could not take your eyes off of (and from a hot tub). Even the sheep and lambs running about the property were so much fun to watch. The cabin/pod was very well designed, modern, and exceptionally clean. We loved the unexpected, but very welcomed inclusion of bathrobes! We had no problem moving around. There were even outlets for electronics liberally placed about and ample shelfs to place small things on. We wanted to cook our own meals while there and were not at loss for kitchen supplies, including a clean gas grill. Even the refrigerator was well sized to hold at minimum of a couple of days supply of food and had ice in it upon our arrival! Perfect. I wish I could have spoken more to the manager, who my husband says was super friendly and gave him all kinds of information about the farm, but we came in late and were gone most of the day to enjoy nearby hikes and exploration. Oh - and if you go into Luss, don't miss the "Fairy Trail" - it will take your mind off of being too serious. Then go hike up Beinn Duhb for some excellent views. Coach Coffee Stop has great ice cream!

It was perfect from the moment we arrived, the hosts are lovely and went way beyond expectations and their dog is amazing too! we had the hot tub both nights and Brian was great getting it ready for us and super accommodating. The treats they leave at the doorstep is also unexpected and lovely. It was almost like staying at a friends house, with the right amount of alone time! the owners were close by and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. the place is beautiful, and the pod itself was well stocked, they had the little things like cooking oil, salt & pepper, strainer and the usuals too coffee machine/toaster/kettle/plates etc. we were travelling with a 10 month old and they set up a cot and made sure we had everything he needed too. we would definitely do the travel from Australia to stay here again for a bit longer next time.

We had a wonderful stay at Alan’s apartment! The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood with a small creek running behind it. it was an easy walk to a large Co-op grocery store, Balloch County Park and Loch Lomond Shores. It also was a great home base for exploring the Loch Lomond area. The apartment itself was fantastic! it has plenty of room for our family of three. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make all our meals. The washing machine was great and there was a drying rack outside we could use. Alan was so helpful answering questions before the trip and he and his sister were so kind during our stay! We would recommend this apartment to family and friends and would love to stay again as well!
